The 460's used in the 70's PI LTD's also had oil coolers. The adapter head was mounted at the filter mounting pad and the filter screwed to the adapter. Those apparently allow you to clock the oil filter low enough to clear the radiator hose. Then use the '90 F-250 351 hose.
