This means that your CPU does a good job of understanding and completing single tasks. This is not to be confused with having a single-core processor. After doing some further research on the HP website, I found that the processor (AMD Elite Quad-Core A10-5750M Accelerated Processor) is 2.5 GHz "up to" 3.5 GHz. What does this mean?
