Discussion Starter · #1 · Feb 5, 2008. online all i can find is that it was on 3-series 84-91. and when i search it it says all kinds of bmws including 7 series and 5 series had the getrag 260's in them. so which cars had the 260's in them ? if you want to lead the orchestra, you must turn your back on the crowd. Web12 nov. 2009 · M50 manual cars got ZF and Getrag M30 manual cars came with Getrags. From what I have read the ZF is the more sought after and stronger trans for the M50.
